D-series

D-series adopted the latest high density embedded Flash technology which is built up with very small flash cells. This new eFlash technology not only can reduce the size of chip but also increase the operation speed.

Similary to other Microtech ROM-less product, D-series do not require ROM mask, user COS can be downloaded into the chip at the last production step. It is much more flexible and easier in inventory control.Similar to other Microtech Innovation’s ROM-less products, no ROM mask making is required for D-series. The card operating system (COS) can be loaded into the chip just before it is issued to the field. Memory Management Unit (MMU) with firewall technology and new security features allow multiple applications can be implemented on the same chip without compromise of security.
